Kraken at the Fiestas del Pilar 2025
Just a few months after the success of its first European tour, Kraken returned to Spain for one of the most significant milestones in its international career: performing at the 2025 Fiestas del Pilar in Zaragoza, one of Spain’s most iconic cultural celebrations. The performance marked a historic achievement, as Kraken became the first Colombian rock band ever to perform as part of the festival’s official program.
The band’s return was a direct result of the overwhelming response to its first European tour in the summer of 2025. The enthusiasm of Spanish audiences confirmed the growing interest in Kraken and made it possible for the band to return to Europe just a few months later, further strengthening its international presence.
The trip to Spain, however, extended beyond the concert itself. Taking advantage of the band’s return, laclaudelmusic, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Colombia in Barcelona and Cinemes Girona, organized the European premiere of El Titán, the documentary that tells the life story and legacy of Elkin Ramírez, Kraken’s founder and legendary frontman. The screening brought together fans, members of the Colombian community, and rock enthusiasts for a unique evening celebrating the legacy of one of the most influential figures in Latin American rock.
Together, these two events made October 2025 a defining moment in Kraken’s international journey. In just a few months, the band had not only completed its first-ever European tour but had also returned to perform at one of Spain’s most important cultural festivals while presenting the European premiere of a documentary honoring Elkin Ramírez’s life and legacy.
