Kraken

With more than 40 years of history, Kraken is Colombia’s most iconic rock band and one of the leading forces in Latin American rock. Founded by the unforgettable Elkin Ramírez, known as “El Titán” (“The Titan”), the band’s legacy lives on through a lineup of musicians who have been part of Kraken for over two decades, joined by the powerful voice of Roxana Restrepo for the past seven years.

Renowned for its powerful live performances and a sound that blends hard rock, heavy metal, and a distinctive artistic identity, Kraken has released landmark albums that have become essential to Spanish-language rock. The band’s versatility has also led to nine symphonic concerts alongside philharmonic orchestras, further cementing its unique place in the Latin American music scene.

In 2025, Kraken completed its first European tour with performances in Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza, Bilbao, and Barcelona, receiving an outstanding response from audiences. One year later, the band returned with the El Rugido del Kraken 2026 tour, expanding its presence in Spain with shows in Madrid, Alicante, Seville, Zaragoza, Valencia, and Portugalete, while also making its debut in Paris, confirming the growing interest of European audiences in the band.

Today, Kraken continues to expand its international legacy with a world-class live show that combines the strength of its history with a modern stage production and a unique connection with audiences. The band’s goal is to continue performing at festivals, theaters, and concert venues across Europe, bringing the spirit of a true Latin American rock legend to new audiences.
